COLLEGE DEGREES BY MAIL

Did you know that you can get a college degree through the mail? A gentleman in California started a very successful mail order business selling a report on how to get a college degree at home. He sells his $15 report through classified ads in various newspapers. He is evidently making a lot of money because soon after he started he quit his job.

The revolution in desktop publishing has open many new opportunities for people offering information on paper for sale.

Subject matter can be almost anything as long as there is sufficient interest among enough people to create a genuine market. Each buyer of a self-published report becomes a qualified lead for other reports in the future.

Most mail order sales should be a two-step process. Never ask for money in a classified ad. Write a good two to four page sales letter and send this to the people who answer your ad. Always enclose a return envelop and an order form with the sales letter. You will make far more sales by accepting Visa and MasterCard on an 800-order line.

Write your ads very carefully. Let someone help you who has successful mail order experience. You can always tell the successful ads. These are the ones that appear for many months or years.

Your report must contain at least two or three pages of valuable information. List the colleges that offer adult degree programs at home. Describe the courses offered and explain how everyone can obtain a college diploma without attending school. Some colleges offer video tapes to home-study students. Others ask students to use their computer to download material used in the classrooms.

Students can study whenever it's convenient and will not be working in isolation. Help is as close as the telephone. In addition, it may be possible a student to receive college credit for prior learning experiences. Obtaining a college degree at home will not disrupt a person's life - it will enhance it with a degree that can open doors to better pay and better opportunities for professional growth.
